“Semaphore Marketing has been a godsend to our nonprofit. With little oversight, Carrie has been able to take over our internal and external communications to keep us moving forward. She listened to our needs while asking the right questions, then developed a strategy and voice that is seamless with our mission. She’s a creative thinker and has been an invaluable asset to our organization.”

WILD HARE YOGA

“Carrie with Semaphore is diligent and thorough, but thinks outside the box. It's clear she considers each client's individual needs and her creativity [and] attention to detail is unparalleled. I appreciate that she is thinking of ways to help my business even when she's off the clock. I felt like a friend and a collaborator. . . I highly recommend Semaphore to anyone needing to get the ball rolling on a new business or for revamping an existing one.”

BLATTEL & ASSOCIATES

“Semaphore Marketing helped us take our bi-weekly newsletter to the next level by transforming its format and design. She has also written several emails, letters, and articles for us (sometimes with tight deadlines) and we've received positive feedback on all of them. She does an excellent job matching our tone and conveying our message to clients.”

about us

Carrie Blattel, the owner of Semaphore Marketing, has nearly twenty years of industry experience. She has spent most of her career managing marketing and communications for nonprofits and small businesses in Indiana and North Carolina, including at Cotton Incorporated’s world headquarters where she served in market research, advertising, and corporate strategy.

An unrepentant chocoholic, Carrie also enjoys walking to coffee shops, watching “The Golden Girls”, and trying to convince people that Jane Austen novels are hilarious.
